Important Notice – Safe Use of Our Starlink Mounts
It is essential that all users read and understand the following safety information before using our products.
Our Starlink mounts are designed and tested to provide a reliable and convenient mounting solution. While our magnetic mounts have been evaluated for high-speed use under ideal conditions on offroad private tracks and non-public roads we cannot guarantee their continued attachment in all real-world scenarios. Various factors, including but not limited to strong wind gusts (such as those caused by passing vehicles), sudden changes in speed, rough or uneven terrain, and improper mounting placement, may affect the mount’s ability to remain securely attached.
While our magnetic mounts offer a robust temporary solution, they are not a substitute for a permanent installation in demanding environments. If you intend to use your Starlink antenna while in motion or in challenging conditions, we strongly recommend securing it with a more permanent attachment method.
To minimize the risk of detachment, a safety tether system is highly recommended. This precaution can help prevent damage or loss of your Starlink antenna in the event of an unexpected disconnection. A properly secured tether adds an extra layer of protection, ensuring that your equipment remains safe even in extreme conditions.
Our Starlink Mounts are not currently ADR compliant, and users bear the sole risk of attachment to registered vehicles while in-motion on public roads.
User Responsibility
The proper use, installation, and security of our mounts are the sole responsibility of the end user. By purchasing and using our products, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for ensuring they are installed and used safely. We are not liable for any damage, loss, or injury resulting from improper use, accidental detachment, or external factors affecting the mount’s stability.
Magnet Safety Warning
Our products utilize N54-rated high-strength magnets, which can pose serious safety hazards if handled improperly. Potential risks include pinch and crush injuries if body parts become lodged between magnets or between a magnet and a ferrous surface. These magnets are capable of exerting several hundred newtons of attractive force, which can cause injury if mishandled.
To ensure safe handling:
- Keep fingers and other body parts clear when handling multiple magnets.
- Use caution when placing magnets near ferrous materials or other magnets.
- Store and transport magnets safely to prevent accidental attraction.
Pacemaker & Medical Device Warning
High-strength magnets may interfere with pacemakers, defibrillators, and other implanted medical devices. If you have a pacemaker or any other medical device that may be affected by magnetic fields:
- Keep magnets at least 6 inches (15 cm) away from your device at all times.
- Consult your physician or medical device manufacturer for guidance on safe distances and potential risks.
- Avoid carrying, storing, or using magnetic mounts near your chest or in close proximity to your medical device.
By using our products, you acknowledge and accept the associated risks and agree to take necessary precautions when handling high-strength magnets.
